Description
Drawell DW-ATN-300 Automatic Azotometer
Product overview
Our company’s DW-ATN-300 automatic azotometer(protein determinator) is designed in accordance with the Kjeldahl method, mainly for assaying the content of ammonia nitrogen, protein nitrogen in cereals, food, dairy products, beverages, feed, soil, water, medicine, sediment and chemicals. The determination conforms to national standards, AOAC, ISO, etc.
The Drawell DW-ATN-300 Automatic Azotometer supports research, pharmaceutical, environmental, food, industrial, and quality-control laboratories. Scientific China provides model selection, configuration review, export coordination, and formal quotations.
Key features
- For solution setting, volume of boric acid solution, the amount of alkali and distillation time can be set up at random
- 20 groups of experimental procedures can be stored to meet user’s various requirements
- Perfect protection system: remind when digestion tube is not in place, protect steamer furnace from being overheated or over-voltage; alarm when distillation is finished
- Manual and auto, two modes for customer to shift
- The DW-ATN-100 is Manual, While The DW-ATN-300 is Automatic;
- Neither the DW-ATN-100 nor the DW-ATN-300 Includes a Titration Device; The User Can Perform The Titration Process Manually;
- Both the DW-ATN-100 And DW-ATN-300 Require An Optional Pretreatment Digestion Furnace;
- Main causes: Deteriorated titrant, contaminated or aged electrodes, high salt content in digested samples, unstable steam flow during distillation, inconsistent concentration of boric acid absorption solution.
- Solutions: Replace boric acid absorption solution and standard acid titrant regularly, clean titration electrodes after each test, and calibrate steam pressure.
- Common causes: Incomplete digestion, ammonia escape during distillation, air leakage of condenser tubes, insufficient alkali addition, excessive sample weight leading to carbonization and agglomeration.
- Improvement measures: Extend high-temperature digestion duration, add sufficient strong alkali to release ammonia, check pipeline tightness, and control sample weighing amount.
- Fault sources: Insufficient water supply, limescale buildup on the heater, blocked steam pipelines, faulty water level sensor, damaged heating module.
- Troubleshooting: Clean limescale on the furnace, inspect water inlet valve and water tank level, unclog pipelines, and repair heating components.
- Main factors: Insufficient automatic cleaning duration, incomplete waste liquid discharge, protein precipitates attached to the inner wall of condenser and reaction tubes.
