In benchtop centrifugation, the rotor often outlasts the instrument it was bought for. Compatibility, not headline speed, decides whether a spare rotor is usable.
The A12-2P is listed for the D2012plus only, a restriction that matters more than any single figure on the specification sheet.
Stated limits are 15,000 rpm and a maximum RCF of 15,100 × g. Those are rotor-level figures, and they apply within the stated configuration.
Capacity covers twelve positions, taking 2 mL or 1.5 mL tubes, or twelve 0.2 mL and 0.5 mL tubes. The rotor body is high-strength plastic.
Two adapters are named: A02P2 and A05P2. These are the parts that bridge the rotor to smaller tube formats, so they belong on the same order as the rotor.
