Description
ClinCap 1000 Automatic Capillary Electrophoresis
Product overview
Capillary electrophoresis is a highly efficient, micro-scale technique particularly well-suited for the separation and analysis of biological macromolecules. In the field of clinical diagnostics, using capillary electrophoresis to analyze the electrophoretic properties of proteins in serum and whole blood makes it possible to identify abnormal protein variants, playing an important role in the diagnosis of diseases such as multiple myeloma and thalassemia.
Key features
- Automation: Realize fully automatic sampling, separation, detection, interpretation
- High resolution: Accurately separate multiple proteins and effectively identifyabnormal pathological proteins
- Intelligent: Intelligent interpretation function, database flagging of patient status, improve staff work efficiency
- Multifunction: Adapt to serum protein electrophoresis, hemoglobin electrophoresis and other detections to meet different clinical testing needs
- Flexibility: It can be expanded withan external sampler, compatible with touch screen or PC operation mode, and can be used in application scenarios with different throughput requirements
Applications
Serum protein electrophoresis/immunotyping
- Serum protein electrophoresis results provide the basis for the diagnosis of inflammation, liver cirrhosis, nephrotic syndrome and multiple myeloma
- In the IMWG or NCCN diagnostic criteria, serum protein electrophoresis and Immunotyping to detect monoclonal immunoglobulin are important methods for judging multiple myeloma, and provide an important basis for its typing, staging, prognosis judgment, and follow-up detection
- Capillary electrophoresis Immuno typing has the following advantages over traditional manual methods: high degree of automation, high resolution, and ease of use
Hemoglobin electrophoresis
Capillary electrophoresis for hemoglobin analysis is an important screening method for thalassemia. It enables qualitative and quantitative analysis of hemoglobin subtypes, and is characterized by simplicity and accuracy. Compared with traditional methods such as HPLC, it can effectively eliminate interference from abnormal hemoglobins, thereby improving detection accuracy.
Glycosylated hemoglobin
- The American Diabetes Association (ADA) and World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines have established HbA1c as the gold standard for diagnosing diabetes.
- Capillary electrophoresis for detecting glycated hemoglobin has the following characteristics: higher resolution, capable of simultaneously detecting both HbA1c and HbA2; identifying and avoiding interference from abnormal hemoglobin variants; indicating the possible presence of thalassemia or iron-deficiency anemia; and ensuring the accuracy of test results.
