Main Achievements: Specific decavanadate interactions with calcium ATPase as well as with myosin and actin; ii) Exposure of neurons to oxidative stress induce changes in calcium cytosolic concentrations that are associated with modifications in the structure of actin cytoskeleton and iii) Immunosuppressive agents alter glucose and lipid metabolisms in adipocytes, and iv) DSC can be an useful tool in quality control studies of fish muscle samples v) Vanadium in vivo toxicity is also dependente on the ionic species (decavanadate), besides comcentration , mode of administration.
